"It is all about scale", explains Nils Van Sunderstrom when we asked him about his latest collection with neckwear brand BlackBird. "As a designer, the play on scale allows me to create contrast and depth that colors and fabrics alone can't give me", says Nils. That a juxtaposition of scale was indeed on his mind is most evident with his latest oversized polka dot collection shown here. Nils paired a slim cut tie width of 2.75" and added a bold 1.5" large dot design.
