Our kids neckties measure 47” in length and are 2.5” wide – typically the right fit for boys between the ages 5 to 12. The boys and toddler bow ties are adjustable in length and fit ages 2-5. All our kids ties below also come in adult versions - perfect to dress the entire family in matching ties.

Age and Heights for Kids Ties

Three things determine what length tie is needed. The largest determining factor is the height of the tie wearer. Our kids neckties usually fit kids between 4 feet 2 inches, and 5 feet. As a good rule of thumb our kids ties will fit boys between the ages 6 to 12. For younger kids and toddlers we suggest you opt for our kids bow ties that are adjustable in collar length and fit ages 2-5 years old. If your child is older, and or very tall for his age, then we recommend purchasing an adult sized tie instead (ideally one of our slim ties to be more proportionate). 

Clip-On or self-tied Neckties for Kids

All our kids’ ties are self-tied neckties. Teach your child How to Tie a Necktie just like dad does. Not only will the self-tied necktie look much nicer than a clip-on, but it is also a great opportunity for dad to teach his something that his son will remember for the rest of his life.
