Connie & Wesley’s Hawaiian Nuptials

We at Bows-N-Ties are excited to feature yet another wedding wearing some of our wedding accessories. Connie and Wesley choose the magical Island of Maui to give their I DOs. Connie tells us that her now hubby, Wesley, had never been to Hawaii before, and that she had always wanted an Island themed wedding. When we asked Connie about her favorite and most memorable moment, she says: “the most memorable thing about the wedding day was our ceremony, especially during our vows. I didn’t think I would get emotional, but I did, my bridesmaid, plus a bunch of guests did too!”

Like some of our other featured couples, and apparently 17% of all Weddings last year (according to a Washington Post study), Connie and Wesley met online, but then later found out that they had friends in common.

Johnna and Justin Tie the Knot at the Ahwahnee

We at Bows-N-Ties are excited to feature yet another wedding which chose to dress in Bows’N Ties. On June 1st, 2013 Johnna and Justin said their “I Do” at the breathtaking Ahwahnee lodge located inside the famous Yosemite Valley.

Below are some of our favorite images by wedding photographer Colson Griffith. In terms of the neckwear choices and groomsmen attire, we at Bows-N-Ties very much approve of mixing multiple different tie patterns in coordinating purple colors.

yosemite-wedding-partyA well dressed group of men! Justin wore a nicely tailored 2-piece suit in dark navy, paired with Prada loafers and matching black belt, a light lavender-blue dress shirt, and a plaid tie combining different shares of purple.

yosemite-wedding-ahwahneeColson Griffith truly knows how to create beautiful photos! This is one of our favorite wedding pictures we have seen in quite some time. Well done Mr Griffith!

yosemite-weddingWe love the way Johnna and Justin played with subtle color accents. The purple tie perfectly matches the ivory shirt and dark navy suit. These colors get picked up again in the bridal bouquet.

Jen & Demetri Tie the Knot in Style

If purple and champagne are your wedding hues, then here is some great groom & groomsmen style inspiration! These awesome pictures were sent to us by Bay Area wedding photographer, Colson Griffith.

Jen & Demetri tied the knot on June 20th, 2013 at Corinthian Ballroom in San Jose CA, and we at Bows-N-Ties are excited to have helped dress Demetri and his men in style. What we love about these outfits is the play with pattern while still incorporating the wedding colors. Each groomsmen wore a different purple tie while Demetri decided on one of our most popular champagne wedding ties. The combination of paisleys, polka dots, gingham checks, and solids for the groomsmen ties added uniqueness while still staying true to the wedding colors. If you don’t like the uniform look of “all-the-same solid-colored-ties” then this is the way to go.

purple-ivory-groomsmen-styleOne well dressed group of men! Demitri wore one of our most popular paisley ties in champagne color while his groomsmen dressed in purple ties all showing a different pattern. It is a great way to get away from the overly “matchy-matchy look” while still staying true to the wedding colors.

champagne-ivory-wedding-tieWho said that the formal tux needs to be paired with a bow tie? We love the classic champagne color paisley tie in combination with the modern cut tux, classic white dress shirt, and chartreuse green boutonniere. Well done Sir!

groosmen-tuxedo-purple-ties“Here, let me help you with that dimple!”

purple-kids-tiesThese young fellas looked uber dapper in their black tuxes and solid grape colored neckties. Just take a look at the perfectly dimpled ties. Certainly, many adults can take a lesson from these boys on how to properly tie a tie.

Our sincerest congratulations to this beautiful couple. We are excited to have you guys featured on our blog. A big thank you also to Colson Griffith for sharing these wonderful photos with us. If you are interested in having your wedding featured on our blog, then we would love to hear from you!

Our Featured Wedding Celebrates Clover and Confetti

Meet Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Cowen

This lovely couple met  at a young adult pick-up indoor soccer night at Dan’s church in Wallingford, Pennsylvania and the rest is history!  This radiant couple tied the not on July 28th, 2012 and they did it in style.  We love the jazzy shade of clover bridesmaid dresses and coordinating ties with the punchy Gerber Daisy bouquets and the orange rose boutineers.  Take a close look at this wedding party because it’s full of romantic pranksters. This group of dapper groomsmen surprised the couple with flying confetti and streamers as the couple had their first kiss as Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Cowen.

This Wedding Party is all smiles!

We are proud to say that these ties were a perfect match to David Bridal’s Clover Dresses!

What a sweet and romantic moment!

Let the kisses fly!

We can see why this wedding could make you jump for joy!

What a handsome couple these two make!

Our favorite photo!  Confetti Time!
