Tuna Modeling for Dogs-N-Ties

With only a few weeks into our SFSPCA fundraising campaign, we are excited to have our first celebrity modeling our Dogs-N-Ties collection. With close to a million followers on Instagram, Tuna the Dog is almost as popular as the First Lady, Mrs Michelle Obama.

Being a Chiweenie himself, Tuna chose to get fancy in the Wiener Dog Tie as well as matching scarf. Doesn’t he look handsome? Thanks to Alicia Rius of Frame Your Pet for her great photography.

Tuna was only 4 months old when Courtney Dasher adopted him at a Farmers Market in Los Angeles. Just 2 years later he has become an Internet sensation, notorious for his excessive overbite and wrinkly neck. Despite all his fame, Tuna stayed a humble and lovable little fella. He is an ambassador for animal rescues, and thanks to his celebrity status was able to raise much needed awareness for the need to adopting rescue dogs.

  5. If I had a human voice, I would sound like: Morgan Freeman. JK. Mine would probably be a lot higher-pitched and squeaker but Mr.Freeman does have the coolest voice, and my mom is big fan of him.
  6. Places I would love to visit with my mom Courtney: London. We want to move there.
  7. My best dog friend is: Fiona (she’s my Frenchie girlfriend) and Frankie (he’s like a brother to me)
  8. I met my mom Courtney while: I was being shown for adoption at a local Farmer’s Market in LA. I was only 4 months old.

Chris & Arthus Modeling for Dogs-N-Ties

Meet long time friends Chris & Arthur! Chris, a model from Newfoundland, and his dog Arthur, a 2-year old French Bulldog, are like two peas in a pod. They both love fashion, style, and longs walks through nature. Needless to say, we are thrilled to have these dapper gentleman model for our Dogs-N-Ties collection supporting the SFSPCA. Chris paired the French Bulldog Tie with a fun color palette of bright aqua blue on the sweater, a seasonal terra-cotta orange on the pants, and a complementing splash of color on the linen pocket square. Big Angus is Modeling for Dogs-N-Ties

Meet Angus, a 5-year old English bulldog, who was kind enough to take some time out of his busy schedule to help model our Dogs-N-Ties collection. For his photo session with bay area pet photographer Kira Stackhouse this handsome fella picked out several pieces from our Dogs-N-Ties collection including the Poodle Silk Tie, the Frenchie Necktie, and – as you may expect – the elegant Bulldog Print Silk Scarf featuring a classy Autumn palette of orange and brown.

Regal Retriever: Sir Lancelot

Our Dogs-N-Ties fundraiser has already been off to a great start. To further promote our fundraiser as well as to showcase these dog print neckties and scarves, we recently had a photoshoot with pet photographer Kira Stackouse of Nuena.com – who took some amazing photos of some dapper dogs wearing these handsome accessories. Each week we will be featuring a new dog wearing a different necktie or scarf. To start things off we are featuring our Bows-N-Ties office dog named Lancelot.
