Pantone Color of the Year 2013: Emerald Green

Color Corporation Pantone Just Announced “Emerald Green” as the Color of the Year 2013. We Found the Matching Emerald Green Ties.

Every year, after having surveyed many influential designers and brands, color corporation Pantone announces their “Color of the Year”. What gave name to the capital city in the ‘Wizard of Oz’ over 100 years ago, is now becoming the hue for 2013. To be more precise, Pantone refers to this color as 17-5641, which is known in the design community as Emerald Green.

That green is going to be a popular color was not a surprise to us. During NY bridal fashion week we have already witnessed many designers’ decision to add more green hues to their bridesmaids dress collection. Just last week we had forecast that Mint Green Ties will be one of the top sellers for spring 2013. You can now also add ties in Emerald Green to this list.
